Laser hair removal doens't hurt that bad. In addition, most laser centers can provide you with a numbing creme that you apply to the area to be lasered, approximately 30 minutes before your treatment. This helps numb the area to the point you don't feel much more than a tingle.

Unless you have dark hair, laser hair removal isn't that effective. If you are a natural brunette, it will work great.

You have to go through 10 treatments or so to really curtail the hair growth. In some cases, you might get a little growth, but for the most part, it permanently reduces or removes most of it.

The cost can be around $80 - $100 per treatment, but most places offer a package deal. You buy 8 to 10 treatments for a discounted prices. It may be $500 to $1,000 for a package. It really depends upon where you go. Make sure they offer a "guarantee" before you buy the package.

I imagine you can be any age. If you are under 17, you would simply need a parent to approve the procedure.
