Permanent hair removal after years of shaving?

I want to know if there's any problems caused by this? If you've been shaving daily for the past 7 years, is it more difficult or something to do the permanent thing? And is there any difference between bodyparts (for example, between legs and the pubic area) such as more complications, etc?

The doctors office where I work does this, it is amazing ! there is nothing wrong with it. I have been shaving for over 40 years, and now that menopause has attacked I have hair in places I never thought I should have hair.... This procedure I am going through is almost painless, it uses electrical impulses, so it feels like someone is gently snapping a rubber band against my skin. Not even uncomfortable. You can have your legs, your bikini, your mustache, your chin hair ( see, told you there was hair in places there shouldn't be)...your underarms. The name of this procedure is called Genesis. You should look into it at your dermatologists office, they can surely help you. I recommend it completely...Only by a certified electrologist or doctor though. Do your research...ask for a consultation.. As far as complications go. I have had only a very tiny bit of reddness for a day. Not enough to make me embarrased to go out in public.

There can be problems with burns from electrolysis. Also, with the shaving every day talk to your doctor about the possibility of hormone imbalances. Certain kinds of hormone imbalances such as Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome can cause excess hair growth.

Also, check with a dermatologist (doctor that treats diseases and disorders of the skin, hair, and nails) for additional information on permanent hair removal.

As for body parts when it comes to hair removal some areas such as pubic may be a bit more difficult depending on the method used.
